ABOUT
Brittle, formerly known as Cameron Ferguson, are a band with roots all around Scotland, from the central belt to the highlands, blending alt-rock and shoegaze to create intense, high energy atmospheres. Brittle is known equally for their punch and heart, with massive drums, crunchy hooks, lush synths and cutting vocals. The combination of two vocalists, male and female create an ethereal and spacious atmosphere, blended into an unstoppable wall of sound by huge, lush synths. Brittle supported Declan Welsh on his 2023 Glasgow tour, won Battle of the Bands hosted by SNAP, and sold out their first headline show in Inverness in 2024. Brittle also performed on the main stage of Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in 2024, being named the “highlight band” of be festival by producer Fiona Mackenzie, solidifying their place as one of Scotland’s fastest rising artists. The band continue to push boundaries with their unique, dynamic sound, blending dark, high-energy rock and thunderingly beautiful ballads with tight riffs, massive synths, and distant vocals.

Cameron plays lead guitar for Declan Welsh and the Decadent West, his former songwriting tutor.
CALUM DUNCAN
BASS GUITAR
Calum Duncan began playing with Cameron in 2022 for their very first Glasgow gigs, after they met at college. Calum has been a part of brittle from the very beginning, providing consistency and security, through his music and personality. Calum lives in Lanark, where he makes the most of the scenery travelling on his motorbike and walking his dogs.
KATIE LINDSAY
SYNTHS & BACKING VOCALS
Katie Lindsay, from Glasgow, joined the band in 2023, bringing new layers to the sound with atmospheric, sparkly synths. Katie splits her time between the rock-heavy brittle, and her own soft, acoustic, folk-centred solo project.
CAMERON HILL
DRUMS
Cameron is best known for his infectious smiles at the back of the stage at every gig he plays. Cameron joined the band in 2024 for their appearance on Belladrum’s mainstage, and is busy making a name for himself in Glasgow as an exceptionally skilled drummer as he studies at music Napier university.
